Rose gold sequins falling like a waterfall of stars – fluid – moving – bold lines –
I see a large blue/green cocoon in the bottom left, resting, nestled in – comfortable – confident – just hanging out like it’s sleeping. “I’ll get up when I’m ready – on my time”
Then, blue lines rain down on all the flowers in this garden – giving life, inviting them to grow and evolve.
(ignore the unfinished wall background 🙂 )
handspun yarn, cotton, synthetic blend fabric, sequins
28″ across, including the custom frame, 38″ high due to the fabric draping 10 inches below frame

Light and Sweet
Light and Sweet
$5,200.00
this piece started as all pinks and oranges – light and sweet… then it needed a little more.. more color, more texture, more layers. The left side was open and white and I wanted to cover it with words. I thought about what I wanted to say – I had a lot ideas, a lot of different thoughts about current events. Then realized the best message I could include is “I love you”. The most important message. Because whether we have the same opinions or not (about anything), the most important thing is that we are all human and deserve love and compassion.
